Manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This role will be inspecting incoming raw materials and final products.
Responsibilities :
- Provide timely and accurate inspection of assigned materials.
- Record test results on Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
- Document all non-conforming test results and include notification to QC supervisor and / or QC manager.
- Approve reported testing results.
- Enter sample data into QC database.
- Responsible to communicate to manufacturing personnel the status or disposition of in process, in process or finished goods as required.
- Operate and understand all quality testing equipment.
- Report and document all incidents. Use CAPA and Root Cause Analysis to determine cause and prevention.
- Keep work area organized.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma required
- 1 year of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail, able to differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable materials according to given standard
- Computer competence to include MS Excel
- Good organizational and record keeping skills
- Ability to work a full day on your feet in a very active environment (this is not a desk job) and lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height.
- Must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, and kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, and hearing, talking, and seeing.
