Locations : In-Office or Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

Successfully order and set up all mortgage loan files, communicating to all operation partners through various means loan application and file status.

Actively participate in ongoing efforts to continually improve customer service for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Determine if the loan is ready to open and follow up to determine when the file can be opened.
• Determine what services are needed on each file based on loan program, and type of loan to order critical information.
• Review of borrower employment information, and order through third party or direct channels to verify income.
• Reach out to Mortgage Loan Originator, Realtors and Title companies for contact information and ordering.
• Ability to effectively communicate what has been done on the file and what is still missing, and the steps taken.
• Additional procedures may be added / changed, as determined by management.
• Clerical ad hoc duties, meetings etc, as needed.

Be structured, detailed and accurate in approach to all tasks required of this position.

Above Average Skills

Strong oral and written communication. Timely follow up skills are critical to the completion of each file. Skilled at multi-tasking and staying organized with proper time management.

Demonstrated Ability

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

General Knowledge

Mortgage lending and industry related best practices.

Education & Experience

Degree or Equivalent

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Years’ Experience

2 to 4-years industry related experience

Specialized Training

Specialized training required : Encompass POS system, RESPA / TIL

Work Environment

Physical Demands

Office or home office environment; Daily computer usage requires close vision. Regular attendance is required, regardless of work location.

Work Conditions

Fast paced, high volume activities.

Temperament

In order to succeed in this position high attention to detail, and organization, amidst fast changing environment is a must.

Compensation

Hourly Wage

$16.50 - $18.25 depending on experience.
