About the team : Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better.
Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.
About the role : This role will lead a team of supervisors in the Regional Fulfillment Center to ensure the operational activities are met or exceeded.
Their focus will be to hire, engage and develop a highly effective salary and hourly workforce that will consistently achieve the desired results.
This person reports to the Operations Manager
Responsibilities :
- Leads a team of supervisor leaders to ensure each shift meets or exceeds the operation’s daily and weekly goals
- Fosters a safety culture through demonstrative leadership
- Holds self and team accountable on general sanitation and food safety practices
- Uses system tools and spreadsheets to analyze data and create labor plans
- Uses system tools to monitor the health of the operation
- Holds self, supervisors, and personnel accountable to budget plans for labor and other expenditures
- Ensures the daily operation is balanced between Shipping and Receiving expectations
- Leads employee engagement and performance feedback Ensures all supervisors consistently engage in the same manner
- Effectively leads supervisors by modeling conflict resolution, problem solving, and self- development skills Participate in mentorship programs and Individual Development Plans
- Hold periodic meetings with hourly employees and supervisors
- Coordinates and partners with cross functional departments (Transportation, Inventory Control, Corporate) on operational deliverables
- Identify achievable goals that positively impact key metrics Celebrate the milestones
Requirements :
- Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for 8-10 hours per day
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physically able to operate pallet jacks
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Able to work overtime as needed
Physical Demands and Abilities :
- Regularly required to use hands and arms for grabbing, pulling, pushing
- Reach and / or lift materials above head
- Regularly lift and / or move objects 10-50lbs
- Occasionally lift and / or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs with assistance
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Regularly work indoors / outdoors in cold / hot and wet conditions
About The Pay :
- Base Salary Range : $81,000 - $93,900 Annually

- Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
We have two available shifts
Day Shift :
- 5am-1 : 30pm
- Mandatory weekend availability
- 2 consecutive weekdays off
Swing Shift :
- 3pm-11 : 30pm
- Fridays & Saturdays off every week
