Legal Senior Onsite Service Specialist
About the Job
We are currently seeking a Legal Senior Onsite Service Specialist for a temporary position working on a backfile scanning project.
This role involves performing a variety of essential tasks within a legal office environment, including document preparation, scanning, quality checks, and box preparation.
You'll also be responsible for mail services, copier maintenance, and other office support functions. This project is expected to run until July 2025, with the possibility of extension.

What youll be doing :
- Operate high-volume duplicating equipment and perform binding, finishing, and scanning tasks
- Ensure proper maintenance of copiers and other office equipment, including troubleshooting and basic repairs
- Handle sensitive and time-sensitive legal documents with the utmost confidentiality and care
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and applying postage
- Perform various office support functions such as shipping / receiving, supply distribution, and meeting room setups
- Provide exceptional customer service to legal professionals including secretaries, paralegals, and attorneys
- Perform file services, including archiving, scanning, and file conversions (such as OCR for keyword searches)
- Assist with managing project logistics and providing professional support to executive-level clients
- Ensure workspace areas are clean and well-organized
- Occasionally work overtime or weekends based on project needs
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; experience in the legal industry is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with executive-level clients
- Working knowledge of copiers and related office equipment
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic electronics knowledge and experience with document management hardware / software
- Valid drivers license may be required for inter-office travel
