An employee owned and operated manufacturer in Iowa is searching for a Ag Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The company is a leader in their respective markets and committed to both it’s customers and employees.
Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the development of engineering instructions using manufacturing engineering practices.
- Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews.
- Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and other documents.
- Design and procure tools / equipment.
- Evaluate and solve production problems.
- Train assemblers or conduct training to introduce new processes.
- Prepare / manufacture prototypes as required utilizing the principals of concurrent engineering.
Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience required.
- Ability to work fluently with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management, problem prevention and problem-solving skills.
- MRP Systems experience preferred.
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding and topcoat applications is preferred.
- Recent graduates encouraged as well
