A major client of ours in the construction industry has a need for a Paralegal Contract Compliance Specialist. This is a permanent position onsite in East Setauket, NY.

Pay range is $75000 - $85000

Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal Contract Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will involve administrative tasks related to compliance documentation and support of both the bidding process and contract execution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Documentation Management : Maintain compliance documents, including insurances, bonds, licenses, and certifications. Help prepare pre-qualification packages, bids, and proposals.
  • Documentation Review : Assess bid documents for compliance requirements (e.g., insurance levels, M / WDBE goals, BABA).
  • Compliance Monitoring : Ensure compliance documentation for ongoing projects is current.
  • Training Support : Help coordinate training on compliance policies and regulations.
  • Collaboration : Work with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to address compliance issues.
  • Research : Keep updated on changes in construction regulations and assist in updating internal procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance administration, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
