The Senior IT Support Specialist serves as a top-tier technical expert within our IT support team. In this advanced role, you’ll handle the most challenging technical issues, lead technology projects, and mentor junior colleagues—all while ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT systems across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an IT professional who thrives in problem-solving, collaboration, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Troubleshooting & Escalation – Resolve high-complexity issues across systems, networks, and devices; conduct root cause analysis and implement lasting solutions.
- Technical Leadership & Mentoring – Provide training, documentation, and guidance to colleagues; lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Project Leadership – Plan and execute deployments of new technology, manage project teams, and ensure successful rollouts.
- System Administration & Optimization – Monitor performance, optimize configurations, and administer centralized systems (e.g., Office 365, security platforms).
- Vendor Coordination – Collaborate with external vendors for advanced troubleshooting, warranty claims, and solution evaluations.
- Continuous Improvement – Suggest and implement improvements to IT processes, policies, and security practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of IT support, system administration, or technical troubleshooting experience.Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, networking, and endpoint security.Proven track record in resolving complex issues and contributing to IT projects.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel occasionally and provide on-call support when needed.Preferred Qualifications
