Job Title : Procurement Specialist
Job Description
The Buyer / Procurement Specialist must have Fastener industry experience where you will oversee advanced sourcing activities, strategically negotiate Long Term Agreements with the supply base, and ensure timely processing of request for quotes (RFQ) and purchase orders.
This role involves building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
Additionally, the Sr. Buyer will oversee the work product of other buyers within the team.
Must Have Experience

Hard Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups and complex formulas
- Commodity experience Aerospace (fasteners) buyer
- Experience with manufacturers and various suppliers
- Proven contract negotiation skills
- Physical inventory control management
- Analysis and forecasting for long lead times
- Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience
- Sourcing and vendor relationships
- 3 years of proposal development experience

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s) probational evaluation period.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chatsworth, California.
Work Environment
This position offers the opportunity to work a 9 / 80 shift, allowing for every other Friday or Monday off. The role requires onsite presence from Monday to Friday, with no option for remote work.
