What You’ll Do : Sales :
Sales :
- Own the sales cycle : You’ll be responsible for selling our Knife Systems products to pulp & paper mills and sawmills in the Southeast.
- Build lasting relationships : Regularly visit customers, develop strong connections, and identify both existing and new sales opportunities.
- Close deals : Gather intelligence on technical preferences, competition, pricing, and decision timing to support final negotiations and win orders.
- Stay in the loop : Actively communicate with product group personnel to ensure everyone is aligned on opportunities and strategy.
Customer Relations :
- Be the go-to resource : Continuously develop relationships with key contacts in Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations departments to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Solve problems fast : Ensure any issues are quickly identified and resolved, maintaining our reputation for excellent service.
- Share knowledge : Lead presentations on our solutions and provide technology updates that keep customers informed and engaged.
Strategic Growth :
- Boost sales : Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and maximize growth within your territory.
- Track success : Document and communicate mill visits with detailed reports, keeping everyone up to date on progress and insights.
What We’re Looking For :
- Education & Experience : B.S. degree in Business Management or Engineering (CHE or ME preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Sales Rockstar : Proven success in sales, preferably within the pulp & paper or sawmill industries.
- Industry Connections : Existing relationships with customers in the Southeast are a huge plus!
- Strong Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Organized & Multitasking Pro : You can juggle multiple tasks with ease, keeping everything on track and organized.
- Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is essential.
