Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze collected data
- Support the materials department section leaders on research
- Support construction projects and collecting construction materials related data
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Understanding of construction plans and FDOT project specifications
- Ability to work within a team of professionals
- Ability to organize data and work with project controls to create reports
- Understanding of construction materials
- Roadway and bridge construction inspection field knowledge
- Understanding of FDOT computer programs necessary to perform those duties
Required Qualifications
- 3 years contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
- Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
- Excellent writing and people skills
- Strong math and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
