Job Description
- Uses CAD software (SolidWorks) and instrumentation (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to create and modify mechanical drawings and perform engineering and design tasks
- Communicate and report outcome of work promptly and effectively
- Contribute to staff development and supervision as appropriate
- Integrating off the shelf components (customized, built from scratch components) Will be assisting in the creation of drawings for custom parts as well as the assembly drawings for everything they integrate
- Periodic verification and updating of system tagging and labeling
- Supporting engineers, while working among scientists, end users, statisticians, programmers, etc. with the development of design solutions
- Develop site layouts and create design plans both independently and under direction of Project Engineers
- Develop preliminary grading designs
- Develop preliminary utility layouts
- Assemble and coordinate plan sets with multiple engineering disciplines, including applicable reference files
Requirements :
- Minimum 4 years CAD Technician professional experience
- Vast recent experience within SolidWorks (min 4-5 years)
- EPDM experience
- Extremely detail oriented
