A company is looking for a Billing Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain site specifics for assigned clients and verify correct contract rates for billing
Manage billing rejections and provide documentation to the coding and billing department
Monitor quality of charge entry, ensure timely filing of claims, and resolve submissions and rejections
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED certification
Knowledge of medical billing and insurance guidelines
Proven experience working with payer rejections at billing
Experience in an Ancillary / Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
Familiarity with CPT codes, ICD, and modifiers
