Market Research Director Independent and Well-Respected Market Research Firm
EXPERTISE NEEDED :
Hands-On' Quantitative and Qualitative custom primary research Must be a fully engaged practitioner of market research programs with experience leading / training junior associates
A Marketing Research Director is responsible for :
- Operating and recommending qualitative and quantitative research solutions for a wide range of simple to complex research initiatives.
- Training and mentoring junior analysts in platforms, research design, analysis, storytelling, and frequently used research methods.
- Developing proposals, which outline the research design, methodology, timing, and costs, based on a client’s business challenge or provided objectives.
- Building / Maintaining client relationships through a consultative, high touch, personalized client service model.
- Project Management organizing kickoff meetings and coordinating internal resources to ensure projects run smoothly and meet client research objectives.
- Development of written reports for complex research projects, including actionable and strategic insights that visually communicate the research findings clearly and in a concise manner.
- Presenting insights to senior-level executives that address the client’s core business challenge and research objectives.
Qualifications :
- Highly collaborative, enthusiastic, and passionate with a positive attitude
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities, including client engagements, in a fast-paced team environment
- Considered Highly skilled in analytics functional skillset
- Breadth of research methodology expertise & experience including survey design
- Able to distill findings into meaningful insights
- 12+ years supplier side, hands-on experience specifically scoping research projects, writing proposals, conducting custom marketing research projects across a wide variety of methods
- Ability to effectively lead project insights team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly skilled in all aspects of Reporting (deliverables)
- Prescriptive / Consultative writing skills reports and client communications
- Strong presentation and storytelling abilities
- Ability to design research and create proposals
- High degree of professionalism & situational awareness
- Experience in new product launch, concept testing, package design, product testing, brand health tracking, path to purchase, brand optimization, and other techniques
CLIENT SERVICES :
- Manage all aspects of research engagements, maintaining and nurturing client relationships, maintain effective client communication and expectations
- Communicate effectively with internal and external research partners / vendors to ensure that each project stays on schedule and within budget
- Act as a client consultant regarding day-to-day study issues
- Respond to questions or concerns regarding the progress of the study, study deliverables, etc. in a prompt and professional manner in order to foster a strong working relationship
