The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) Southern California Chapter Foundation (CMAA SoCal), a 501(c)3 charitable organization, awards internships and scholarships to qualified students in the region pursuing a degree in Construction Management (CM) or a related-degree program every year. Interested applicants must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in CM. We are now accepting applications for each of these programs.

The application is combined for both. Simply complete this application and submit along with your resume and personal statement.

Only students located in the Southern California area are eligible.

About CMAA Southern California Chapter Foundation Internship Program

We offer up to 12-week paid spring and summer internships @ $25 / hour in partnership with nationally recognized firms based in the Southern California region.

About CMAA Southern California Chapter Foundation Scholarships

We offer scholarships paid directly to students including seniors. The number and amount of scholarships to be awarded vary from year to year, but typically range between $1,000 and $5,000. Some scholarships are specifically for minorities and females.

The CMAA National Foundation has its own application process and awards scholarships separately. You can download their application at www.cmaafoundation.org.

Requirements

In order to be eligible, you must be a member of CMAA. Student membership is free - apply at CMAA Membership.

The deadline to submit your application for the 2026 Scholarship & Internship program is December 18, 2025.
