Job Title : Plant Operations Assistant

Job Description

The Plant Operations Assistant is responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring the quality of products, and meeting production schedules. This role involves equipment set-up, product quality checks, and adhering to production timelines under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment.
• Hang and seal bags of product.
• Fill and seal shaker bottles of product.
• Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level.
• Place product on pallets according to specifications.
• Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning production equipment and lines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The role is situated in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time. The employee must lift and move up to 50 pounds. Protective attire may be required due to the industrial setting.
