Your role at Clorox :

The plant HSE Coordinator is responsible for working with the site HSE Leader to support and ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance within the Burt’s Bees' Manufacturing site.

In this role, you will :

Communicate Safety and Environmental compliance at all levels.

Ensure Compliance to all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations in regard to Safety compliance.

Interact with Federal, State and Local environmental agencies when obtaining and / or reviewing Safety permits, during visits and inspections, and when submitting compliance documents.

Maintain accurate, current and orderly files for Safety documentation including permits, applications, monitoring records, compliance documents, and agency correspondence and inspection reports.

Review all permits regularly to ensure Safety and Environmental compliance is maintained

Complete all reports necessary for Local, State, Federal and Corporate Standards.

Lead External Vendor management to handle waste, recycling, sorting, removal and disposal.

Assist the Ergonomic and Health Vendor in enhancing and maintaining comprehensive Ergonomic and Health initiatives within the facility.

Lead Safety Audit Program throughout the Plant.

Maintain excellent team relationships.

Willing to work across all scheduled shifts as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

What we look for :

AS or BS degree in Safety, Health, Engineering or equivalent experience required

Skill Block Level Minimum of 2 is desired, but 3 is preferred

Strong background working with computer databases

Demonstrated ability to lead a rapid focused improvement and experience in Loss Analysis.

Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA, 30-hour Construction Safety and Industry Standards plus familiarity with DOE 10 CFR Part 851 highly Preferred.

Experience and a good understanding of Environmental (EPA, county permits, regulatory) standards is highly preferred.

Demonstrate the ability to use MS Office tools create, update, and share data with groups in the plant.

Good communication, presentation, Organizational and interpersonal skills are required.

Good written and verbal communication skills are required.

Demonstrated ability to multitask is required.

Starting Base Pay : $28.55 / hour
