Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a progressive telecommunications company and is seeking a versatile HR Administrator with experience in handling small accounting tasks to join our team.

Monday - Friday; 9 : 00 a.m. - 6 : 00 p.m.

up to $50k / Annually

This role will be responsible for various human resources functions as well as supporting accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR operations and payroll administration, coupled with basic accounting knowledge to assist with financial transactions and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Human Resources :

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Administer payroll and maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave balances, including PTO management.
  • Coordinate training programs and support employee development initiatives.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

2. Accounting :

  • Process travel expenses from outside sales; audit all receipts and make sure they match entries.
  • Use NETSUITE and ACCESS to process reports and manage expenses.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Manage multiple import / export invoices, customs clearance and BOL's.
  • Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and employee reimbursements
  • Manage proper and timely returns of demo device models shipped out to customers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
  • Contact customers to remind or retrieve devices if needed.

Qualifications :

  • High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in HR operations and accounting tasks.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, payroll systems, and employment laws.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HRIS and accounting software preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
