Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing inorganic materials using state-of the-art in digestion capabilities and testing methodologies.
  • You will perform defined tasks and sub-projects with team spirit, endurance, and creativity to meet objectives.
  • Accountable for the professional and timely documentation of results.
  • Proactively oversee and utilize lab resources in the most effective way, identify maintenance needs and necessary improvements.
  • Performs wet chem instrument upkeep and PM. Responsible for writing and upkeep of elemental chem SOPs.
  • Works in compliance of equipment and process within laboratory guidelines, follows 5S principles and ensures timely and accurate reporting of results using approved electronic systems, LIMS.

Requirements

  • Seeking a Bachalors Degree in Chemistry perferred (will also consider Chemical Engineering Degree, must have a passion for lab work)
  • You should have strong analytical technical skills with excellent lab practice abilities.
  • Having excellent communication skills both oral and written is a must.
  • Continuous learning opportunity, you should be open to new ideas and continous change within a fast paced environment.
  • Good hands on abilities, able to maintain lab instrumentation within our laboratory.
  • Work with a continuous improvement mindset and be able to work independently.
  • You should also have strong problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
