A leading company in the e-learning and education technology sector is seeking a contract paralegal / contract manager to provide immediate support during the busy back-to-school period in the US. This is a remote-friendly position; however, the client has a strong preference for candidates based in Austin, Texas. The role will focus on contract administration for K-12 educational environments and government-related agreements.
This engagement will be roughly 15 hours / week with potential to increase with work volume, and depending on performance.
Responsibilities :
- Manage general contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing agreements
- Support data privacy addenda (DPA) negotiations with US school districts
- Review and process government contracts and ensure regulatory compliance
- Utilize Ironclad (CLM tool) for contract lifecycle management
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including legal, sales, and compliance teams
- Track contract statuses and maintain accurate records of contract activities
