What You Will Do
- Responsible for assigned book of business amounting to $800k in revenue
- Process renewals and incidental new business, cancellations and policy changes
- Responsible for accuracy of your work product and that of others assisting you
- Maintain and be responsible for expiration log and renewal list
- Market renewal policies, as requested by Producer
- Provide Producer with accurate new and renewal proposals, coverage summaries and client check lists for presentation to clients
- Check policy coverages, changes and amendments for accuracy and relevance
- Respond to or refer insured's and underwriter's questions or requests
- Input / amend client policy, coverage, premium and billing information into computer system and keep current at all times
- Verify commission schedules with carrier and accounting department for each account
- Assist Producer and Client in the reconciliation of client accounts, as necessary
- Maintain Applied computer system documentation as required by the Employee Benefits Department
- Maintain and be responsible for upkeep of client technology tools
- Generate client open enrollment materials and conduct open enrollment meetings, as needed
- Present marketing results and strategies with decision makers
- Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars / classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development, including educational classes in your specific field and those offered by Bolton in communication, leadership, corporate language, and other classes as recommended by leaders
You Should Have
- Must have 5 years of small group EB experience within the insurance industry
- Active Life / Health License required
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to build underwriter and client relationships
- Ability to delegate to appropriate parties when necessary
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Some travel required (up to 20% depending on book of business & industry)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Salary Range
$60,000 $75,000 USD
