Job Title : Maintenance Associate
Job Type : Full Time / Direct Hire
Location : Batavia, NY area
Shift : 2nd or 3rd shift June - November / then 1st shift December through May
Pay : $24-$28 / hr

The Job Duties :
- Interpret and construct equipment from blueprints and construction drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct utilizing the following skills : Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pumps, Mechanical Maintenance, Motors, Digital Electronics, Print Reading, Control Circuits, Power Supplies, Basic AC / DC Theory, Power Distribution, Test Instruments, Computers and Electrical.
- Uses established preventative maintenance programs to maintain operating systems.
- Repairs and replaces defective parts.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs electrical instrumentation and control equipment.
- Boiler operation and ammonia experience a plus.
- Must complete Maintenance Skills Evaluation.
Requirements :
- Knowledge of all mechanical equipment, installation, maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of maintenance hand tools and shop equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical technical equipment (ie : micrometers, calipers, metal gauges, metal thickness)
- Knowledge of oxygen acetylene equipment and welding equipment
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, overhaul hydraulic pumps, relief valves, regulating valves, filters, lines, actuating cylinders and motors
- Ability to fit and adjust chain and sprockets for drive units
