00 - $79.00 / hr Work Requirements : USC, GC or Authorized to work in USMainframe Applications Architect Design and implement a modern application architecture for our Mainframe systems, including z / OS Connect, OpenShift, Java and DevOps pipelines.
Assist with incremental modernization of monolithic Cobol programs to micro-service APIs. Monitor and troubleshoot the Mainframe systems and applications, using tools such as Mainview and a modern telemetry data lake.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Extensive experience with Microfocus products.
At least 5 years of experience supporting Mainframe Applications. Expert knowledge of Mainframe Application architectures, including CICS / MQ, z / OS Connect, zCX, OpenShift and Java.
