We have a newly created opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our corporate Human Resources team in Milwaukee, WI.
In this role you will provide comprehensive HR support to assigned corporate / business support functions. Initially this role will be the primary business partner for our corporate IT team.
This role will provide active coaching, counsel, and support to employes and leaders in assigned business groups.
Key Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment :
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Partner with the internal recruiting team on the implementation of the talent acquisition strategy for the corporate / business support functions.
Where applicable, develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and vendors.
- Lead the full-cycle recruiting process for assigned business groups, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Provide coaching to hiring manager on leading interviewing practices, facilitate interviews and debrief meetings.
Employee Relations and Engagement :
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, procedures and employment matters.
- Proactively address employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
- Analyze, determine risk levels in employee related issues. Consult with outside counsel as needed to address risk related issues and develop solutions based on the company’s best interest.
Performance Management :
- In partnership with the talent development center of excellence, support the full cycle performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, calibration, succession, and development planning.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management best practices and strategies for employment development.
- Deploy learning and development initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans as needed.
Total Rewards :
- In partnership with the compensation and benefits centers of excellence deploy annual compensation and benefit programs and initiatives to assigned business groups.
- Partner with business leaders and the compensation team on the development and evaluation of job descriptions, career paths, etc.

Change Management and Organizational Development :
- Partner with assigned business leaders to assess organizational needs and develop strategies for driving change and fostering innovation.
- In partnership with our HR centers of excellence and HR shared service teams, develop and implement HR strategies, programs and initiatives aligned with business goals
- Provide insights and recommendations to drive organizational effectiveness and improve the employee experience
Human Resources Projects :
Participate in the development, design and deployment of strategic human resources related initiatives and projects.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Human Resources related certification such as a PHR or SHRM-CP is strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources business partner experience. Experience supporting corporate and / or technical functions is strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of human resources related laws, regulations, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other human resources data tools. SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time. Regular travel between our Milwaukee and Chicago office (minimum 2 times per month) is required.
