The Program Analyst is primarily responsible for performing financial and impact reporting efforts for the SFA program. This role works extensively across internal departments within Baker Tilly to ensure the technical and financial success of the overall SFA program.
The Program Analyst reports to the Program Manager, SFA. This position is located in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities : Support the development of program compliance and governance systems by creating data gathering forms, assistance request submission and approval processes, escalation protocols, internal feedback loops, and process review checks.
Identify and set up internal controls for maintaining compliance with EPA requirements identified in the award agreement in conjunction with external auditors.
Oversee federal grant compliance processes focused on performance metric data gathering, monitoring, and program-wide performance reporting.
Maintain and update federal grant performance dashboards. Prepare regular program GHG emissions impact reports using the EPA AVERT tool, or similar platforms.
Prepare regular program evaluation reports focused on program operations, capital deployment, impact, and outcomes. Provide knowledgeable compliance support for potential grantees by troubleshooting errors and providing support with compliance monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or related field of study required; a Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
1-2+ years of experience working in the energy industry (utilities, utility-run programs, solar) or in finance, banking, consulting, or related field.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting related to federal grant administration. Demonstrated organizational and coordination skills.
A demonstrated attention to detail. Highly proficient in Microsoft Power BI. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
