What does a Dining Service Manager Do?
This position is critical in our communities and our resident satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for :
- Manage the day-to-day operation of all dining rooms, kitchens, hospitality areas, café, and pub.
- Hiring, training and leading a team of servers, cooks, dishwashers, and bartenders.
- Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards. Completes and utilizes daily production sheets. Tastes meals to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintains inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within established guidelines and budgets.
- Lead with and inspire excellent customer service to our residents.
- Prepare and serve foods indicated on planned menus.
- Ensure consistent quality and delicious food is served.
- Create and maintain the schedule for the dining services team.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining department at all times.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of prior success in working in or managing a dining services department.
- English language required.
- CPR Certification (preferred).
- Must pass criminal background check and drug test.
