As the Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of our E-commerce and Digital assets and Retail printed assets.

This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, exceptional Design taste and skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually compelling and highly functional digital and printed design systems that enhance the customer journey and drive business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development of E-commerce and digital assets, ensuring visually compelling and highly functional user experiences that align with our brand identity.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of printed assets for retail, ensuring consistency and excellence in visual communication across all customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement design systems that enhance the customer journey, driving engagement and business growth through innovative and user-centric design solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand Creative, Integrated Marketing, CRM and Retention to design seamless and engaging user experiences across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, ensuring consistency across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications, as well as printed assets for retail.
  • Stay current with industry trends, design trends, emerging technologies and tools, and best practices in e-commerce, retail, and digital design.
  • Independently work on multiple projects at once and able to evaluate the importance of business priorities.
  • Ownership of consistency, and creative quality control over concept work and execution.
  • Guide junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team, ensuring design feasibility and optimal implementation.
  • Analyze and interpret data to measure the effectiveness of design solutions and iterate based on insights.
  • Ability to work on a diverse range of projects with little oversight and direction including channel-level toolkits for other design support.
  • Collaborate with the retail team to design engaging in-store experiences that reflect our brand and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in (digital) design, with a focus on e-commerce or fashion on either Agency or In-house side.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Fluent in social media platform best practices : Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Google.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating responsive and adaptive designs for web and mobile platforms, as well as retail environments.
  • Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about design challenges.
  • Proven track record of ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines, with strong project and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated resourceful and strategic creative thinker; exploring solutions independently before raising concerns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing a range of digital and retail design projects, including examples of e-commerce and fashion-related work.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with A / B testing and data-driven design methodologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Salary

Looking for the perfect next opportunity is a big decision. Mejuri recognizes the importance of pay transparency when it comes to salary ranges as it empowers individuals through the hiring process and supports them in making an informed decision.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. The salary range is between $101,000-$130,000 per year.
