Geost seeks an enthusiastic and highly capable Senior Human Resources Generalist to execute tactical and strategic Human Resources activities.
This role will successfully manage day-to-day operations as well as plan for involved HR projects. An ideal candidate will have a strong mix of both hard and soft skills to support the needs of our employees and the success of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance, interpretation of policy, and training to the organization for Human Resources matters.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organizational objectives, strengthen work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and encourage employee engagement.
- Document, update, and enforce HR processes and procedures for consistency and repeatability.
- Update and maintain files and systems to support ongoing company reporting requirements.
- Review and provide feedback on opportunities identified within the business to mitigate risk and support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead the performance management process to ensure SMART goals are set and accountability is upheld.
- Identify workforce skill gaps and assist with training and development programs.
- Own pre-onboarding, onboarding, and post-hire activities.
- Co-lead ESG committee and support the development and execution of ESG initiatives.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring and retention initiatives.
- Liaise with Payroll to support accurate processing of pay related items.
- Lead administration of benefits and work with carriers to address issues.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for the HRIS system, ensuring the timely processing of employee changes and accuracy of employee records.
- Manage leave administration and provide appropriate communication to employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations, applicable employment laws, and legal requirements such as FMLA, COBRA, HIPPA, ADA, anti-harassment, etc.
- Prepare and submit mandated reports to governmental regulatory agencies.
- Assist with the planning and execution of tactical and strategic HR activities.
- Provide frontline support for HR issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.
- Manage the Human Resources SharePoint page.
- Aid in the communication of new or updated policies and procedures as well as general business announcements.
- Coordinate and / or facilitate employee engagement activities, events, and other work-related functions.
- Support on-site work, as needed.
- Support off-site work, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.
- An active U.S. Government Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Clearance. Current SSBI is preferred.
- Seven or more years of Human Resources experience.
- Solid understanding of, and experience with, standard human resources processes, benefits and compensation, leave administration, and employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, FMLA etc.).
- Experience executing strategies and managing projects that promote a culture of superior customer service and exceptional employee engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record of taking initiative to emplace and own best-in-class processes with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a commitment to guiding with compassion and humility.
- Ability to perform successfully as an individual contributor as well as in a team.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.

Required Qualifications
- Prior work in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong experience with ADP.
