Summary of Duties
Responsible for performing a variety of shipping tasks to support customers, sales and other departments as needed.
Wage : The starting wage is $19.00-$23.00 / hr. DOE
Shift : 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm Mon-Friday, but they do want a person that can work some OT as needed.
Essential Function Performed
Coordinate and locate product from production area to shipping staging area and prepare for processing which includes photographing prepackaged product.
Coordinate and validate wrapping and packaging products by following shipping requirements to ensure safe transit.
Coordinate and validate photographing wrapped product and complete documentation of weights and dims of each pallet.
Certified to operate forklifts and cranes.
Coordinate building crates and pallets for proper shipping of products.
Coordinate loading gear and miscellaneous product into dry van trailers and or flatbed trailers.
Ensuring the team has properly secured product to trailers using ratchet straps.
Monitor and disposition L2L shipping dispatches.
Creating itemized packing slips and Bill of Lading for all outgoing freight.
Process all small parcel shipments through UPS WorldShip and log all shipments with pricing and tracking on the UPS Ship log.
Assign drivers to all local delivery and or Will call.
Turn in all applicable driver logs, pre-trip inspection, signed packing slips and or Bill of Ladings.
Apply applicable freight signate to all freight.
Create folders for all pictures per Job Order and apply to the respective Sales Order on the server.
Maintains cleanliness of shipping area using 5S standards.
Performs other related tasks, as required.

Summary of Minimal Qualifications
Education equivalent to a high school diploma.
1 year of work experience as Shipping Clerk.
Knowledge of basic mathematics and the ability to apply it in a work situation.
Ability to read and understand written instructions.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
