Our client in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant - AR to assist their accounting team.
This is a 6 month contract position with a hybrid schedule, and then possibly remote after training.
Responsibilities :
- Efficient and accurate posting of all payments received to our customer records, (commercial and insurance clients) into our Great Plains system.
- Weekly posting of credit memos.
- Reviewing commercial clients’ unapplied payments and obtaining resolution.
- Process commercial refunds to clients if necessary.
- Prompt posting of commercial clients’ returned checks, to ensure up to date Accounts Receivable status.
Qualifications :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Great Plains experience
- Highly organized and proficient in multi-tasking.
- Solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.
- Ability to provide thorough reports and documentation of multiple activities.
- Must be flexible with high reliability and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
