Profile : A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its workers' compensation defense team in Salinas, CA.
This full-time position offers a hybrid work model and is ideal for candidates with at least two years of relevant experience who are eager to manage an active caseload.
Duties :
- Handle an open caseload of workers' compensation defense cases.
- Provide excellent client service and maintain strong communication with clients.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide timely updates on case progress.
- Work independently while collaborating with team members to ensure effective case management.
- Draft legal documents and prepare for hearings as required.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or a related field.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality client service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Licensed to practice law in California.
Skills :
- Proficiency in computer skills, as the office operates in a completely paperless environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
