Are you a passionate and driven attorney seeking an opportunity to grow your career in personal injury litigation? Direct Counsel is currently seeking a Junior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a reputable law firm in Santa Monica's dynamic team.
As a key member of the litigation department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar
- 1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range : $110,000 - $165,000 per year (DOE)
