Our client, a financial services company, is looking for an HR and Recruitment Specialist to join their team in the downtown Chicago area.
In this position, you will oversee and provide resources to employees such as help onboarding, orientation. records management, employee communications and help with employee transactions.
This position, based on experience, pays up to $70k.
About You
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ year of experience in HR (as intern or full-time) is preferred
- Recruiting experience is strongly desired
- Working knowledge of HR functional areas (Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee Relations, Staffing, etc.) and human resources information systems is desired
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong to advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and schedule new hire orientation virtually or in-person
- Lead new employee orientation including coordination and preparation of meetings, documents, and presentations
- Assist with pre-screening resumes and scheduling interviews
- Assist with preparing guides and manuals to assist with various HR policies and procedures
- Provide general office clerical support
- Maintain internal databases for candidate recruitment process
- Participate in intern selection process
