Job Description
What you will be doing :
- The KAM will cover our New York City metroterritory
- Building market share of productswithin the foodservice channel
- Conductingproduct presentations and demonstrations
- Building and maintaining relationships with top operatorsin the market
- Developing maintaining andexpanding relationships with key purchase influencers and economicbuyers
- Reporting regularly on sales activitiesand opportunities
- Reviewing and analyzingsales and trade spend reports
- Reviewingprogress against forecast and budget with the National AccountManager
- Maintaining sales activity files onall current and potential customers
- Maintaining a complete inventory of samples of allproducts sold by the Company
- Building andmaintaining relationships with key distributormanagement
- Negotiating marketing plansconducting business reviews
- Resolving keydistributor problems
- Conducting distributorsales meetings
- Traveling up to 50% asneeded
- Working out of a home office
Experience you will need :
- 4year college degree is preferred
- Indepth knowledge of the food service industry includingoperator segments and distributors
- Solidunderstanding of the sales cycle and sales techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable sales results in thefoodservice industry working for leading companies e.g. PactivHuhtamaki SCA Eco Lab etc.
- Currentrelationships with key operator and distributor customers withinthe assigned region
