Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

Summary

The Senior Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Treasury and Asset Liability Management (ALM) functions, combining expertise in finance, accounting, and data analytics to contribute to strategic decision-making.

Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAsset Liability Management (ALM) Support :

• Conduct thorough analysis of the bank's balance sheet to assess interest rate risk, liquidity, and capital adequacy.
• Analyze data and trends to develop and enhance assumptions for the company’s IRR model.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on ALM metrics and trends for management review.

Treasury Operations

• Assist in the management of the bank's cash position, ensuring liquidity needs are met efficiently.
• Monitor and analyze liquidity trends and forecasts.
• Support the execution of treasury transactions and manage associated documentation.

Data Analysis

• Utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from financial data, aiding in decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on the bank's financial performance.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data quality and streamline reporting processes.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and assist in external audit processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to finance and data analytics.

Education And / or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, accounting, or data analysis.

Computer And Software Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in Excel and use of computerized financial accounting and reporting systems.
• Interest and aptitude to learn new systems.
