The Field Service Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing scheduled routine preventive maintenance and on-call services to customers in assigned areas.
They will also service and maintain machines as assigned, including troubleshooting and repairing small parts. This is a full-time opportunity that includes travel and working onsite in the Elk Grove Village, IL area.
Field Service Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :
- Install machines and address any product quality issues promptly
- Train customers on system operations and basic maintenance procedures
- Conduct quality control checks on new machines and ensure optimal performance
- Maintain inventory and accountability for necessary parts and tools
- Report any issues or opportunities for improvement to the management team
- Ensure timely processing of service work orders and expense reports
Field Service Mechanical Engineer Requirements :
- Ideal candidates are recent graduates looking to kick-start their careers
- Mechanical experience is a definite asset in this role
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt quickly is crucial
- We welcome candidates with diverse educational backgrounds, including trade school or community college graduates
- Comfort with regular travel, both within and outside the state
