The Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist, Senior. This announcement will be used to fill a classified position located in Boise, ID.
This position will provide support for State of Idaho employee learning and development for the Idaho Division of Human Resources.
Summary : Responsible for facilitation and development of learning and development activities for State of Idaho employees.
May lead or assist in training content development and / or performing related work.Responsibilities : FacilitationDevelops facilitation strategies and deliver development solutions in areas such as conflict resolution, team building, skills training, workflow process or organizational changes, project managementPerforms workgroup facilitation and mediationMay coordinate and facilitate strategic planning sessions.
Training and curriculum developmentResearches and assesses training needs and requirementsEstablishes objectives and designs curricula and courses to meet those needsDevelops supporting materialsFacilitates courses and group discussions during the conduct of trainingUtilizes a learning management system for record-keeping and deployment of e-learning contentMay monitor and evaluate staff or contract trainers to evaluate quality of experience providedMay develop, implement, and supervise train-the-trainer programMay monitor project budgets and oversee participant recordsConsults with management regarding organizational effectiveness and employee development needsMay research and develop or review and recommend use of vendor-based materials for organizational development and system improvement projectsMay develop and monitor contracts.
