Process Improvement Lead

What we are looking for :

Position Background :

Laundrylux has a small team of employees called Customer Care AccountManagers that are responsible for coordinating with sales, order entry,finance, logistics, and accounting to facilitate orders being shipped on timeand in-full.

The current process is manual, cumbersome, and slow which isfrustrating to all people involved.

Position Objective :

We arelooking for an analytical leader that can help us rethink the current processesand support the implementation of new, streamlined processes.

The successfulcandidate will function as a Customer Care Account Manager for 3 months, thenbegin leading projects that will optimize the process by simplifying andautomating steps in the order-to-cash process.

The goal will be to have thecomplete process in 12 months, at which time, this person will lead thedepartment. The person that fills this role will work directly for the COO andhave his full support.

Back to the role : What you will do :

What you will do :

  • Spend 3 months learning the current Customer Care Account Manager’s responsibilities and processes.
  • Validate the current process maps that have been created and edit where appropriate.
  • Support the implementation of the new ERP module that will simplify the quoting process for the sales team. Ensure it meets all requirements of the Customer Care team.

Requirements to be learned during your training.

  • Identify and develop requirements for the IT team to automate processes or write Visual Basic / Python code to automate the processes in the order-to-cash process.
  • Optimize the customer care processes, people, and information flow to ensure all orders are ready to be shipped within 2 days of order entry.
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and a routine to review those metrics with the Customer Care team.

What you should have :

  • 2+ years’ of consulting experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis- advanced Excel required, PowerBI, Visual Basic, and Python knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with process mapping and optimization
  • Effective communication
  • Excellent collaborator
  • Problem solver be resourceful and identify solutions to problems.
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing and / or distribution
  • Preferred experience with ERP systems

Salary Range :

$100,000-$110,000 annually Depending on Experience
