As a busser for the Tex-Mex team, you are in integral part of the dining experience. It is your responsibility to ensure the cleanliness of the dining room by clearing tables and keeping the floor clear of debris.
You will also assist servers and bartenders by restocking service areas and resetting tables for the next guest.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Obtain section assignment at the beginning of each shift.
- Maintain proper table alignment and setup.
- Take used tableware to dish pit and unload, sort and stack silverware, glassware and dishes in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area.
- Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs, booths, booster seats and high chairs.
- Handle food : chips and salsa
- Check floor and clean as needed.
- Sweep floors, sidewalks and parking lot.
- Monitor trash cans and empty as needed.
- Clean restrooms.
- Follow proper closing procedures to keep store clean and organized.
- Be kind and courteous to guests.
- Interact with guests and fulfill requests or relay requests to server.
- Attend all scheduled team member meetings

- Previous restaurant experience not required, but preferred.
