Job Purpose / Summary
The Housing Program Manager is responsible for the administration, development and management of the Sacred Path Housing Program, which focuses on helping the American Indian / Alaska Native community in Los Angeles and Orange County achieve stable and sustainable housing.
This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Housing Program and supervising its staff (as assigned). The Program Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and implement strategies to meet the housing needs of the Native community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program Management :
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring that the program is operating in accordance with contractual requirements.
Collaborate with the CEO to define program goals, objectives, and strategies.
Develop, implement, and manage housing services.
Monitor program performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure goals are met.
Manage program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Compliance and Reporting :
Ensure all housing programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Prepare and submit required reports to funding agencies and regulatory bodies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all housing services.
Stakeholder Coordination :
Collaborate with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups to develop and implement housing initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners.
Facilitate community meetings and engage with community members to gather input and feedback on the Housing Program.
Staff Supervision :
Train and supervise program staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing support and development for team members.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Policy Development :
Assist in the development of housing policies and procedures.
Analyze housing trends and data to inform policy decisions.
Advocate for policies and practices that promote affordable and accessible housing.
Client Services :
Provide direct assistance to clients seeking housing support and resources.
Assess client needs and connect them with appropriate services and programs.
Ensure clients receive high-quality service and support throughout the housing process.
Other duties as assigned or required to fulfill the mission of Sacred Path.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing program management or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of housing regulations, policies, and best practices.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
Master's degree is preferred.
License / Certifications : None required

Excel, Word, Google Workspace (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets, gmail), relevant databases.
Utilize technology tools for remote monitoring to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring data accuracy, security, and adherence to privacy regulations to safeguard sensitive client information.
Position Qualification Preferences
Experience working with the American Indian / Alaska Native community.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with vendors, and staff.
Mental Demands
There are various deadlines associated with this position. The employee must also multi-task and interact with many people on a variety of issues.

Pass fingerprint clearance
Maintain annual negative TB test results on file
Pass a post-offer drug test
Possess and maintain a reliable vehicle with valid CA driver’s license and active auto insurance
Available to work evenings and weekends, as needed
Willing to travel, as needed (travel time could range from 10 - 15%)
