is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team. This position has the option to be fully remote.

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules for our portfolio of programs.

This role requires extensive expertise in MS Project and an ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within scope. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with program objectives and timelines
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather schedule requirements and dependencies, and reflect that in the master schedule
  • Identify schedule risks using EVMS and critical path methodologies and work with Project managers to define mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project progress and analyze schedule variances, providing regular updates to project teams and leadership
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to established scheduling standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage schedule dependencies and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in the development of program management processes and procedures

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • Must meet eligibility for Secret Clearance
  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler or similar role working with schedules in a project-intensive environment
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency with Earned Value Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ways to Stand Out Preferred Requirements

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 6 years of experience with at least 4 focusing on project scheduling
  • Experience with earned value management software, especially Deltek Cobra
  • Secret Clearance preferred

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $97,000 to $112,000 annually.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
