Fiskars Group is searching for a Key Account Manager for our Walmart Sales Channel in Bentonville, Arkansas!

About the Role :

The Sales Key Account Manager- Walmart is a pivotal role within the Walmart Sales Team, and will ultimately be responsible for developing opportunities and driving sales within the Walmart Account.

In this role, the individual will work closely with our Walmart National Sales Manager, cross functional business units, and members of the Walmart Vendor Team on implementation of sales activities to meet and exceed targets and increase market share within the account

What You'll Be Doing / Main Job Responsibilities :

Customer development, sales process and customer interaction- aiming at meeting / exceeding sales targets and customer expectations, including delivering the targeted sales forecasts;

monitoring sales volume, revenues, and profits

  • Implement short and mid-term sales plans and prepare sales strategies within own area of responsibility to reach nominated targets
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share and meet / exceed growth targets
  • Work to develop a long-term business relationship with key customer contacts
  • Coordinates business planning with Company personnel
  • Develop and implement specific action plans to build a business pipeline
  • Plan and participate in both internal and customer meetings, ensuring that outcomes and productive and results oriented
  • Ensure that sales and marketing plans, goals, and polices are consistent with established company-wide goals
  • Create a strategy and calendar with expected ROI for customer and prospect visits, and other required travel
  • Effectively execute required reporting requirements
  • Promote goodwill and a positive image of the company

What You Can Bring to the Organization :

  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably within Walmart Hardlines .
  • Experience in business development, account management, retail and distribution strategies
  • Experience with preparing and executing onsite account sales presentations- both large and small audiences
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and negotiate effectively at all levels within the organization, as well as with external customers
  • PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines and goals
  • Must thrive in a diverse environment
  • Ability to travel as required
