The primary role of the MC Division Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator & CAPEX Portfolio Manager is the provide guidance and alignment to the site leaders in the execution of achievement of the Corporate CRS Targets and the Divisional CAPEX Projects execution.
This entails cooperative management of the MC Divisional site ’s team resources focused on the achievement of Corporate CRS short term and long-term initiatives and performance targets and alignment of the Div ision’s a nnual and longer-term CAPEX projects execution .
Responsibilities Include :
Management of the MC Division Capital Expense Project Portfolio.
Partner with the MC Site ’s leadership teams to align CAPEX projects with the near term Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the longer-term Strategic Long-Range Plans.
Partner with the MC Site’s Leadership teams to align their site’s CAPEX needs in alignment with the 3-5 Year Strategic Long-Range Plans (SLRP) and with the Annual Operating Plan Budgets (AOP)
Aid the site teams with the development of the Capital Expense Approval Package development, Return on Investment models and with Project Plan development .
Ensure that the teams are resourced to manage the execution of the AOP CAPEX Plan.
Facilitate routine CAPEX Project Reviews to ensure that the teams are on schedule to critical project milestones and on budget to the CPAEX Project plans .
Management of the MC Division Corporate Social Responsibilities annual ke y initiatives and goal s in alignment with attainment of the Corporation’s longer-term targets.
Play a role in the scouting and planning of site level Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) improvement opportunities.
T ake lead in pitching different ideas and concepts to the Divisional & Corporate level CSR stakeholders for required funding and support.
Promote the visibility of CRS Goals and Initiatives throughout the MC Division
Function as internal knowledge resource on issue of CSR as it pertains to general information dissemination. Monitor key trends, competitive activity, and other issues of interest to the company .
Review and the Resource Advisor Sustainability database of relevant CSR data streams for data mining in identifying improvement opportunities.
Perform the heavy lifting for assessing the MC Site’s for CSR improvement opportunities and perform the data mining to support the resource commitments required to act on these found opportunities.
Assi st the local site teams in the development of and execution to the CSR improvement opportunities plans.
Facilitate routine CSR Reviews to ensure that the teams are on schedule to critical improvement milestones and in alignment with the Corporate CRS Targets .
Specifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Demonstrated success in Project Management of CAPEX Related Projects
- Experienced in establishing Annual CAPEX Budget and Plan s & establishing the resources to execute to the budget on time .
- Demonstrates a keen interest in CSR and Sustainability
- Experienced in understanding energy utilization and consumption measurement and monitoring te chn iques and availab le equipment.
- Familiar with Facilities Infrastructure and associated energy consuming equipment.
- Skilled in maintaining relationships and partnerships with external organizations and with senior executives.
- Effective communication and presentation skills along with the ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders.
- Initiative-taking and Self Directed
- Able to travel both domestic and international to visit and assess various sites.
Education / Experience
Minimum of 10 years related facilities & associated systems support , management of contract service providers .
5 years of Management experience of building management personnel and or associated technical trades.
Lean / Sigma Problem Solving training and practitioner experience is a strong plus.
