Role Description
As a Restoration Technician, you’ll work closely with our Mitigation Manager to perform high-quality water restoration services and more.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Assisting in all tasks necessary to ensure quality cleaning and restoration services.
- Setting up vehicles and equipment at job sites following proper procedures.
- Verifies moisture presence and removal with moisture sensor. Responsible for making daily adjustments to the drying plan based on water meter readings.
- Monitor loss and document readings.
- Receives work orders and schedules from Mitigation Manager, operates power head, connects hoses and other equipment.
- Performs fire / smoke damage repair and tasks to include water extraction, pack out of contents, and duties as directed by supervisor.
- Cleaning the vehicle at the end of each day and ensuring proper backing procedures for company vehicles.
- Participating in weekend on-call duties once a month.
- Learning the cleaning side of the business to assist in those jobs as well.
Qualifications
- A valid South Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation and a mobile phone.
- A clean and neat appearance with strong customer communication skills.
- Ability to work in the U.S.
- A willingness to work after hours when necessary.
- Physical ability to bend, reach, and frequently lift 1-50 lbs., and 100 Ibs. with assistance.
- Physical ability to go into crawlspaces.
Bonus Points for :
- IICRC and WRT certifications.
- Previous experience in floor cleaning and water restoration.
