Description
Develop Database (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Mongo DB, Cassandra, Cache) and Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) architecture strategies for various business & infrastructure initiatives and provide highly available and scalable data solutions.
Define and develop Data Pipeline and Migration strategies using Spark Streaming, Scoop, and ETL methodologies.
Design logical and physical layout architecture for Exadata Consolidation project.
Drive continuous improvements in processes & procedures through automation frameworks using Python, Java, Shell Script, Ansible, Chef, etc.
Develop Automation tool for Data Migration across various Oracle Databases.
Build Automation for Database provisioning for Oracle, Multitenant, Mongo, and MySQL Databases.
Develop automatic Patching solution for RAC and Non-RAC Oracle databases.
Define and develop Public Cloud Adoption and Migration strategy and plan.
Provide delivery of small to very large-scale Business and Infrastructure projects.
Partner with Engineering teams in performing Architecture review, Capacity Planning, and Data modeling.
Conduct Performance load / stress tests in partnership with application teams and analyze the results to prepare for peak holiday traffic.
Ensure adherence to key regulatory demands through design and deployment of PCI, SOX, and HIPAA-compliant database security structures.
Partner with PMO, Engineering & Infrastructure teams to develop a database technology roadmap and establish service level agreements with various business partners.
Provide 24x7 support for highly available production systems.
Provide crisis management / escalation, troubleshooting & RCA during production incidents across mission-critical external and internal client-facing systems.
