Automotive Title Clerk/Biller

Job Summary

The Tamaroff Group is seeking a detailed-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing vehicle titles, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and providing excellent customer service! This role is crucial in facilitating smooth transactions for our customers and supporting the overall operations of the dealership!

Responsibilities

• Process and manage vehicle titles for new and used cars, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for title transfers, registrations, and lien releases.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding vehicle titling and registration.
• Verify the accuracy of titles, registrations, and other related documents.
• Maintain organized records of all title transactions and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales staff, and state agencies regarding title issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma / GED required, associate degree in accounting or business-related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of Automotive Title Clerk experience preferred.
• CDK experience is a plus!
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
• Must be comfortable operating within an ever evolving and high-volume work environment.
