Job Title : CFM Technician

Overview :
TTG Talent Solutions is supporting a leading MRO aerospace company that specializes in the maintenance and repair of CFM56 engines.
This is a permanent position with full benefits and a 2nd shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a Part 145 repair shop, with a focus on off-airplane engine teardown, rebuilding, and engine component maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
- CFM56 Engine Maintenance : Assemble and disassemble CFM56 engines (all series) , both teardown and rebuilding in a repair shop setting (no line maintenance).
- Quick Engine Change (QEC) : Remove and install QEC components and be familiar with module build-up and QEC installation.
- Engine Parts Maintenance : Conduct maintenance and alterations on engine parts / modules in accordance with CFM manuals and manufacturer specifications.
- Documentation : Properly record all maintenance tasks performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintenance records.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Technical Documentation : Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work scope documents related to engine maintenance.
- Problem-Solving : Utilize strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the repair and maintenance processes.
- Tool & Equipment Usage : Use all necessary tools and equipment specific to engine maintenance tasks.
- Work Area Maintenance : Maintain clean, organized workspaces and ensure proper upkeep of equipment.
- Team Collaboration : Work effectively with other technicians and engineers to achieve maintenance goals.
Qualifications :
- Valid FAA Powerplant License .
- Minimum of 4 years of experience, including CFM56 engine work and familiarity with borescope inspections .
- Experience with CF6-80 engines is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) as required by FAA regulations.
- Field service experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with Quantum software is a plus.
- Possess a basic set of aircraft maintenance tools .
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Flexibility with working hours, including overtime and weekends.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing due to the safety-sensitive nature of the role.
