We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Tustin, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing client accounts, ensuring timely payments, and resolving billing issues efficiently. Responsibilities :

• Conduct daily outreach to clients for payment collection and account updates.
• Negotiate and establish payment plans to address outstanding balances.
• Accurately record and post payments to client accounts.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure account accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline collection processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action.
• Provide clients with clear explanations of payment terms and account updates.
• Review account statuses regularly to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a related field.
• Proficiency in handling billing functions and cash collections.
• Familiarity with B2B and consumer collections processes.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of commercial and third-party collections is preferred.
• Experience with credit and insurance collections is an asset.
