We are seeking a Technical Sales Account Manager with a strong background in technical sales for manufacturing, industrial, or engineering operations.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in refrigeration, control engineering, and fluid dynamics, and will be responsible for managing sales processes, developing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth for industrial capital equipment.
This role involves minimal travel (less than 10%) and requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of technical systems and continuous improvement processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Management
Lead the sales process for capital equipment, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring that customer requirements are met.
Customer Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, providing technical expertise and support.
Technical Expertise
Utilize in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, control engineering, and fluid dynamics to effectively communicate product capabilities and benefits to customers.
Continuous Improvement
Apply knowledge of continuous improvement and quality processes to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance.
Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, product development, and quality teams to ensure that customer needs are understood and addressed.
CRM & ERP Systems
Utilize CRM and ERP systems for tracking customer interactions, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring efficient order processing.
Must-Have Qualifications :
Experience
4+ years of technical sales experience within manufacturing, industrial, or engineering operations.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, control engineering, and fluid dynamics.
Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for technical sales presentations and client interactions.
Software Proficiency
Experience with MS Office Suite, CRM software, and ERP systems.
Education
Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical sales experience.
Travel
Comfortable with less than 10% regional travel.

Industry Experience
Experience in technical sales for industrial capital equipment or components for capital equipment manufacturers.
Certifications
Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.).
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
