Job Details :

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Finance industry.

This role is integral to our operations and will involve liaising with various departments and external suppliers to ensure efficient procurement processes.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement strategies, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail.

They will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, driving cost-saving initiatives, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic advice.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance to senior management.
  • Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the Finance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
