- National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant preferred Experience : *1 year experience as a medical assistant or successful completion of GBMA externship program.
- National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant may be substituted for years of experience req.Skills : *Knowledge of medical terminology*Skill in using techniques for phlebotomy, EKG, specimen collection, medication administration and taking vital signs*Skill in written and oral communication*Ability to distinguish normal from abnormal diagnostic results*Ability to pass a medication calculation test with an 85% or better prior to hire
